The OSU Extension building was decorated in the style of the Irish on Friday night March 17th. The dinner began with a lovely spread of hors d’oeurves and sliders to please the palate and break the ice for an evening of the business owners who support the Paulding

While guests were relishing in the tasty cuisine of the evening, officers of the Chamber presented awards to several worthy businesses and individuals serving Paulding and surrounding community. In the silent auction there were two exciting items to be won — a Vera Bradley weekender set and a membership to Eagle Rock and AuGlaize Golf Courses. Paulding County Sheriff's Office Explorers

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Explorer program provides a community service organization for anyone between the ages of 14 to 21 interested in a law enforcement career and to allow young men and women to better understand the role of law enforcement in today's society. The Explorer Post also provides members with training and experience in leadership, teamwork and positive self-confidence. By identifying interested youth and exposing them to law enforcement, the Explorers Post is used to attract possible future deputies.

Meeting Times

Meetings are held every Thursday night from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Paulding County Sheriff's Office Training Center. The Training Center is located 284 Dallas Industrial Drive Dallas, GA 30132. These meetings consist of both classroom learning and practical exercises that allows Explorers to work hand in hand with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.
