Casino Night - 2020. The Esposito, Meyer, and Weisman families present this year’s. CASINO NIGHT (Cancelled, See below.) Attention! With profound and sincere dismay, we are now cancelling the 2020 AJ Foundation Casino Night fundraiser due to the current state restrictions and guidelines.

A voucher will be provided to each of your guests at the beginning of your event to be exchanged with the dealers for real casino chips which are used as play money. Your guests win as many chips as possible, for a chance to win a prize at the end of the event. The prize, that you provide, is always a great way to motivate your guests to try to win as much as they can.

• Adult Prize Ideas That Are Fun and Cheap! If you are hosting a party and have activities planned you will want cool game prizes. These party prizes are perfect for those minute to win it games, the saran wrap game, or Christmas party games too!
• Casino Night Door Prize Gift Basket: Red Diamond Shiraz, Wine Glasses, Poker Chips, Dice, Cards, Poker Night Party Music CD, Million Dollar Chocolate Bars, casino coins and Candies wrapped in Dice like paper found at Party Store. I still say I am not creative but this was a fun basket to put together.
• Casino Night canceled for Spring 2020 Like many, the P-H-M Education Foundation has been closely monitoring the coronavirus pandemic and paying specific attention to guidelines on easing social distancing.
• Three prizes is usually a nice sweet spot since it allows you to give an award to the top three winners. A private party like yours certainly doesn’t need more than one prize per table. At the end of the night, your guests will turn their funny money and chips in for raffle tickets.

At the conclusion of your casino party you have the choice of a Casino Raffle or Casino Biggest Winner. A raffle will allow all your guests the chance to win that special prize. 10 minutes prior to the end of gaming, your guests will cash in their casino chips in exchange for raffle tickets. Each guest will place their raffle tickets in a drum, and then a winner is picked for each of the prizes.

The Casino Biggest Winner allows the top 3 players to win prizes. 10 minutes prior to the end of the gaming, your guests will turn in all their chips as the dealer counts and adds up their winnings and inform the Pit Boss (Casino Manager) of who the biggest winners are. The Pit Boss will inform the event host about whom the winners are and he/she will give the lucky guests their prizes.

Casino Party World will provide you with professional dealers and a Casino Manager (Pit Boss) dressed appropriately for your event. All our dealers have personalities that make the evening as enjoyable as possible and will skillfully explain the simple rules of the games to your guest. You don’t have to give away prizes. Casino Theme Parties are very exciting, even when you just turn in your chips at the end. Of course, awarding prizes can make your casino theme party even more exiting. There are a few things to consider when choosing your prize pool and method of awarding prizes. I recommend you coordinate with your Casino party event planner if you would like to award prizes.

Casino Night Prize Awarding Methods

There are several ways to award prizes at a casino theme party. I recommend choosing one of the following with the standard raffle being my favorite.

The Standard Raffle: (Recommended) The Play Chips are converted to standard raffle tickets in a pre-determined ratio. Tickets are placed in a raffle drum and prizes raffled one at a time. We recommend giving one raffle ticket to ALL guests as a freebie. It keeps them the in the game even if they lose all of their chips.

The Auction: Guests use their Play Chips to place bids on the prizes they wish to win. You should have no more than 5 items when you use the auction method.

The Chinese Raffle: The Play Chips are converted to standard raffle tickets in ratio of 1 ticket per $5,000 in Play Chips. The guests then place raffle tickets in individual boxes for each prize in which they are interested. Once again, we recommend giving one raffle ticket to ALL guests as a freebie.

High Rollers: The guests with the highest winnings are awarded a prize.

Prizes for Casino Night Fundraisers

For Casino Night Fundraisers it is not uncommon to have a casino night in conjunction with a live or silent auction. The idea is to have supporters donate items for the auction, then auction those items as part of the fundraising effort. If you are hosting a casino night fundraiser, it is important to keep in mind the cost and potential [lost] revenue from having prizes awarded from the casino play. Basically you should have low value prizes for the casino and put the high value items in the auction. The purpose of this strategy is to maximize your cash revenue.

For example if you had a supporter donate a $50,000 car you would be much better off auctioning that car off for cash, more than likely tens of thousands of dollars, then giving it away as part of the casino prize pool.

Once again, less is more. While is might seem like a great idea to give lots of prizes away at the end of your event, it is generally better to give fewer better prizes than to give lots of smaller prizes. First off keep in mind that it will take a 30 seconds to a minute to award each prize. So if you have 40 prizes you are in for a long prize awarding session and if the prizes are not really that great you will lose the guests’ interest.

Secondly, people want to feel special for winning. Imagine the lottery gave away fifty million $2 prizes versus one $100 million prize.

If you really want to give away lots of little prizes like key-chains, koozies, or other trinkets; I recommend the game event award method. Most casino games have some event that happens every so often. For example a Craps player gets a point, a Roulette player hits a number, a Blackjack player gets a Blackjack. Those somewhat rare events can be used to award small prizes during the party to the lucky player. This is ideal when you want to award lots of prizes and or don’t necessarily want to require the guests to stay to the end of the event. This works well for conventions, trade show and expos where the players come and go from the table and you may never see them again.
